Nationally, this award is given annually to graduating students in Kinesiology and Physical Education programs at member universities to recognize leadership, academic success, and commitment to the professions.
The Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators (CCUPEKA) is pleased to recognize outstanding student leaders in our programs.
The winner of the CCUPEKA Student Leadership Award is:
- a graduating student in good standing in a CCUPEKA member institution and studying kinesiology or physical education;
- has excelled academically;
- has made significant contributions to the profession in leadership roles during her/ his undergraduate studies;
- has been selected and approved as per the institution’s CCUPEKA approved selection procedures for the award.
